In modern stables, automated feeding robots take over the precise and consistent feeding of the animals. To protect both people and animals from injury, our SENTIR safety contact edges are often used on these systems and serve as anti-trap protection. If it comes into contact with an obstacle – such as an animal, a person or an immovable object – the robot is stopped immediately or the movement is reversed immediately. This effectively prevents accidents and injuries, even in narrow stable aisles with limited visibility.

Cleaning and manure removal systems
Automatic cleaning and manure removal systems ensure hygiene and animal welfare. Our tactile sensors are used to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems.
Depending on the size and design of the cleaning or manure removal system, SENTIR bumpers can be used in addition to classic SENTIR safety edges. These large-area sensors offer more comprehensive contact protection and are particularly suitable for larger machines where a larger detection area is required.
