When the mat is stepped on, a switching signal is triggered which, depending on the application, either causes the machine to stop immediately or slows down its movement. SENTIR mat contact mats are made of durable polyurethane and are available with various slip-resistant surfaces, including a studded structure, aluminum checker plate, or sand coating. They can be integrated flush with the floor, are low-maintenance, reliable, and comply with all relevant safety standards.
